Sally
The crew of the sealing ship Sally paid a high price for their voyage to the Auckland Islands in 1825. Captain Lovett lost 2 boats and six of his men drowned. They were John Cole, Edward Stowers, John Simons, Robert Hardy, George Howell, and Rob Richardson. The result of their tragic three months at Auckland Islands was just 200 seal skins.
In June 1826, Sally was reported as being at Stewart Island.
